About Us
Our team is dedicated to understanding the experiences of children who are at risk of maltreatment and their long-term outcomes within the social services and healthcare systems. Our ultimate goal is to produce evidence that identifies effective prevention and intervention strategies to decrease the incidence of abuse and neglect and promotes healthy development of children.
We leverage administrative data from the child protective services and healthcare system to conduct interdisciplinary research, using both quantitative and qualitative methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of how children at risk of maltreatment interact with both systems. We are committed to collaborating with local communities, policymakers, and stakeholders to translate our research into real-world policy and practical solutions that improve the lives of children and families.
